Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (Residential)

Job Description:
Himalayan International Residential School (HIRS) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Education Teacher who is passionate about fostering physical fitness and sportsmanship in students from Grades I to XII. As a residential staff member, the candidate will be expected to live on campus and actively engage in the school's sports, games, and co-curricular life beyond regular school hours.

Minimum Qualification:

• Master's in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) from a recognized institution

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school
• Prior experience in managing inter-house/inter-school events and coaching teams for competitions preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular PE classes as per CBSE curriculum
• Coach students in various sports including football, cricket, athletics, basketball, and indoor games
• Organize inter-house and inter-school sports competitions
• Ensure safety and discipline during sports and physical activities
• Promote fitness, teamwork, and fair play among students
• Coordinate with hostel staff for morning and evening games
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities

Residential Responsibilities:

• Supervise hostel games hours and encourage physical activity among boarders
• Act as a mentor to students outside classroom hours
