Infertility and IVF Coordinator (Counselor) Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Infertility and IVF Coordinator with a strong background in counselling to support individuals and couples navigating infertility treatments, including IVF and assisted reproductive techniques. The ideal candidate will serve as a primary emotional support resource, guide patients through clinical processes, and help manage expectations during treatment cycles. Key Responsibilities: Provide emotional and psychological support to patients undergoing fertility treatments, including IVF, IUI, and egg/sperm donation. Conduct individual and couple counselling sessions before, during, and after fertility treatment. Help patients understand treatment plans, procedures, risks, and outcomes in a clear and empathetic manner. Collaborate with reproductive embryologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. Maintain strict confidentiality and sensitivity while discussing personal, medical, and emotional matters with patients. Provide crisis support and coping strategies for patients dealing with unsuccessful cycles or emotional distress. Assist with patient scheduling, follow-up calls, and coordination of treatment timelines. Stay current on best practices in reproductive counseling and fertility treatments . Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Psychology Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Zoology, Ecology, Food and Nutrition) Specialized training or certification in: Fertility Counselling Reproductive Psychology (preferred but not mandatory) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity. Empathetic, non-judgmental, and emotionally resilient. Preferred Skills: Prior 2 years’ experience working in a fertility clinic or IVF center. Familiarity with reproductive health laws and ethics.
