We are committed to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. Job description The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime of all plant machinery and equipment through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. The role requires expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as hands-on problem-solving skills to support production efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities 1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance * Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery (e.g., tool room , dyes , forming machine, electroplating plant, coating lines, presses, and assembly equipment). * Conduct routine inspections to identify potential failures before breakdowns occur. * Maintain maintenance logs and records as per company standards. 2. Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance * Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production loss. * Diagnose root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. * Repair or replace faulty components in coordination with relevant departments. 3. Equipment & Facility Management * Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines. * Maintain plant utilities such as machines, compressors, generators, and water treatment units. * Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and spare parts procurement. 4. Safety & Compliance * Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. * Conduct safety audits and risk assessments for equipment. * Train operators and technicians on safe machine handling. 5. Continuous Improvement * Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance machine reliability and energy efficiency. * Maintain spare parts inventory to avoid production delays. * Support the implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S in the maintenance department. Key Skills & Competencies * Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. * Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial machinery. * Understanding of electroplating and coating plant maintenance (preferred). * Ability to read technical drawings and manuals. * Good communication, documentation, and team coordination skills. * Familiarity with preventive maintenance software/tools (optional). Qualifications & Experience * Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * Minimum 3–5 years experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment. * Experience in metal fabrication, electroplating, or coating industries will be an advantage. Work Environment & Conditions * Factory-based role with exposure to production floor operations. * May require working in shifts or extended hours during breakdowns. * PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided and must be worn at all times.
