1. Role Summary Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Technical Responsibilities Install, configure, and commission equipment/machinery. Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/system issues. Conduct functional testing and system verification after repairs. Ensure proper calibration and settings of equipment. Maintain tools, test instruments, and service equipment in good condition. B. Customer Service Responsibilities Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. Communicate issues, repair status, and solutions clearly and professionally. Train users on correct operation and basic maintenance. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and quality service delivery. C. Documentation Responsibilities Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and repair records. Document installation details, parts replaced, and work performed. Escalate issues and report recurring faults to supervisors/engineering teams. D. Safety & Compliance Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies and industry standards. Ensure safe work practices during installation and maintenance. Identify and report hazards or unsafe equipment conditions. Comply with regulatory and quality guidelines (e.g., ISO, OSHA). E. Team & Coordination Responsibilities Coordinate with engineering, sales, and support teams for customer requirements. Assist in field trials, product testing, and feedback collection. Participate in technical training, workshops, and skill-upgrade programs. 4. Required Skills & Competencies Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electronics systems (customizable). Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Time management and problem-solving ability.
