Import-Export Executive – Accounts Department Location : Thane, HO Department : Accounts & Finance Reports To : Accounts Manager / Finance Head We are looking for a detail-oriented Import-Export Executive to support our Accounts Department in handling all financial and documentation aspects related to international trade. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with customs regulations, manage payment processes, and maintain accurate records for all import-export transactions. Key Responsibilities: Handle accounting for all import and export transactions, including invoices, freight charges, customs duties, and taxes. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners for timely movement and clearance of goods. Maintain records of import-export documentation such as Bill of Lading, Shipping Bills, Purchase Orders, and Invoices. Process foreign remittances, letters of credit (LCs), advance payments, and ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI, and DGFT guidelines. Reconcile vendor accounts and freight bills related to imports/exports. Liaise with internal departments (logistics, procurement, finance) to streamline the flow of financial and shipping documents. Monitor duty drawback claims and refunds, and follow up for timely realization. Prepare reports on import/export status, cost analysis, and financial forecasting. Assist with statutory audits and provide necessary documentation related to international transactions. BRC Generation, Payment Preparation, Advance & Balance, Rate difference entry, Bond Preparation. OC, Inspection etc. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in import-export accounting or trade finance. Knowledge of Indian customs regulations, FEMA, GST, and foreign trade policy. Proficient in MS Excel, Tally ERP, or other accounting software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
