Role : Research Scientist/ Senior Research Scientist - Biomaterials Job Requirements: Conduct research on biomaterials targeted for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications and generate protocols for the same Perform extensive physical, biological chemical characterization for biopolymeric products. Innovate, conceptualize, plan, execute, analyse data and troubleshoot experiments Active participation in interdisciplinary research with colleagues and collaborators. Project or team management experience will be considered as a plus. Strong evidence of writing scientific documents like manuscript, patent, grant proposals, etc in the relevant research field and presentations in public platforms. Proactive external communications with vendors, suppliers for resources and instruments procurement, CROs for specialized services for pre-clinical studies. Expertise in more than one polymeric scaffold fabrication techniques, including (but not limiting) in-situ crosslinking and 3D bioprinting, preferably for generating complex structures. Work Location: Electronic City, Bangalore Required Qualification and Experience PhD in material science, biotechnology, polymer science, life science or related field with relevant industry or post-doctoral research experience a minimum of 3 years for RS and 5 years for SRS.

Role : Associate Research Scientist - Biomaterials Job requirements: Primary- Develop and characterize polymeric scaffolds. Experience with scaffold fabrication techniques using biomaterials to generate complex tissue mimetic hydrogels and composite scaffolds, for applications in tissue engineering. Skilled in various scaffold and material characterization techniques. Culture and maintain various cell types, including stem cells and primary cells, and perform cell-based assays to evaluate biocompatibility, proliferation, and differentiation. Developing 3D in vitro tissue models to assess the function of scaffolds. Experience with 3D-printing will be a plus. Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical methods, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Prepare presentations for internal and external meetings. Proficiency in software for data analysis, Image processing, CAD designing. Participate in interdisciplinary research with colleagues and collaborators Meet with vendors for raw materials and instruments procurement, and with CROs for specialized services Qualification and Experience: M.Sc /M.Tech (Experience with Biomaterials) in Biotechnology, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or biological sciences with Research experience (minimum 3 years) in material/ polymer science in a renowned research lab or industry; or PhD (completed or near completion) in the relevant field.
