As a Painting Intern (Fine Art) with a strong foundation in traditional Indian painting styles, your main responsibility will be translating art onto handloom textiles, clothing, and accessories. This role is perfect for fine art students, recent graduates, or self-taught artists who are eager to gain hands-on experience in working with wearable and functional art. **Key Responsibilities:** - Handpaint traditional Indian art forms on fabric, clothing, and accessories - Work on styles such as Madhubani, Gond, Kalamkari, Warli, Pichwai, Miniature, or related folk art - Assist in developing motifs and compositions suited for sarees, dupattas, stoles, potlis, coasters, and home textiles - Maintain consistency in quality, detailing, and color application - Collaborate on new collections **Qualifications Required:** - Background in Fine Arts / Painting / Visual Arts - Knowledge or practice of Indian traditional art forms - Comfortable painting on fabric and mixed surfaces - Good sense of composition, storytelling, and detailing - Patient, disciplined, and eager to learn craft-based production - Ability to meet timelines and handle delicate handwork In addition to the above, the location for this internship is on-site in New Delhi (Govindpuri, Okhla) with a duration of 36 months. Upon completion, you will receive an internship certificate and stipend.
