• Responsibilities: Preparing Items for Shipment: This involves receiving materials, sorting them, and packing them into appropriate containers according to customer orders and specifications. Weighing and Labeling: Ensuring accurate weight measurements and applying correct labels, including shipping information, to packages. Quality Control: Inspecting items for any defects or damage before packing and ensuring that all packaging meets quality standards. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of shipments, including packing lists, invoices, and other relevant documentation. Maintaining a Clean and Safe Work Area: Ensuring the packing area is organized, safe, and free of hazards. Operating Equipment: Using tools and equipment like pallet wrappers, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks, as required.
