PACKING MACHINE OPERATOR

As a Packing Machine Operator, your role is crucial in ensuring efficient and safe packaging of products in accordance with quality standards. Your success in this position will be determined by your ability to operate and maintain automated packaging equipment effectively. Here is what you will be responsible for and the qualifications required for this role: Key Responsibilities: - Operate packing machinery to fill, seal, and label products as per production specifications. - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and productivity standards are met. - Set up and adjust machine parameters, including speed, temperature, and materials. - Inspect products for defects and ensure packaging meets company standards. - Load packaging materials such as boxes, film, and labels into the machine. - Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area. - Follow all safety protocols and report any safety hazards to the supervisor. - Complete daily production reports and documentation as required. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is an advantage. - Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery. - Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production schedules. - Good attention to detail and quality control. - Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. - Willingness to work in shifts and flexible hours, including weekends if required.
