Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an International Buyer located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The International Buyer will be responsible for sourcing goods from different countries and ensuring they are saleable in Europe. Day-to-day tasks include negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, analyzing market trends, and overseeing the sales process. Assist in sourcing suppliers and products internationally based on company needs.Communicate with overseas vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and confirm order details.Process purchase orders and track their progress to ensure timely delivery.Monitor shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal logistics.Maintain accurate records of international purchases, including shipping documents, invoices, and import permits.Work with finance and accounting departments for invoice verification and payment processing.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.Analyze supplier performance and suggest improvements or alternatives.Prepare regular reports on purchasing metrics and supply chain performance.Support procurement projects and initiatives as needed.
