Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable, proactive, and empathetic Study Abroad Admission Counsellor to guide students through the process of applying for higher education opportunities overseas. The counsellor will be responsible for advising students on course options, university selection, visa processes, scholarships, and pre-departure preparations for countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, and more. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one counselling to students aspiring to study abroad. Understand and analyze the academic background and career goals of students to offer suitable university/course options. Assist students throughout the admission process including application preparation, documentation, SOP/LOR guidance, and university correspondence. Provide information on standardized tests (IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, etc.) and support them in scheduling or preparing for the exams. Guide students through the visa process including document preparation, interview training, and submission. Maintain and update CRM or student management systems with leads and follow-ups. Organize webinars, workshops, or seminars related to study abroad opportunities. Keep updated with changes in international education policies, university requirements, and visa regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, universities, and internal teams. Qualifications: Master’s degree in relevant discipline (preferably in Education, Management, or related fields). 1-3 years of experience in overseas education counselling or a related role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of foreign university systems, especially in top destinations (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.). Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.. Preferred Skills: Counseling certification (optional but preferred). Ability to work independently and in a team. Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools. Multilingual abilities are an asset. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹11,979.16 - ₹39,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: In person
