OT Technician and Anesthesia Technician

The role of an OT Technician involves assisting anesthesiologists and surgeons during surgical procedures in the Operation Theater (OT). You will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery by cleaning, disinfecting, and positioning them on the operating table. Monitoring patient vital signs and promptly reporting any abnormalities to the medical staff is crucial. Additionally, maintaining accurate records of patient data, medications administered, and treatment plans is a key part of the role. Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring devices is also part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience as an OT Technician or in a related field. A B.Sc OT & AT degree or Diploma is preferred. A strong knowledge of operation theatre operations and protocols is essential for this position.
