Role Overview OWM ltd. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented marketing and sales professional to grow our business. This critical role demands a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can drive revenue growth, build strong customer relationships, and effectively manage all aspects of the sales and marketing function. Key Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management Business Development: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the textile industry. Develop and deliver compelling sales and marketing presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our brand. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the customer portfolio. Cultivate key accounts to achieve significant growth in order volume and value. Sales Operations Performance Management Oversee the order booking process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion within the SAP system. Analyze overdue receivables and implement strategies for prompt collections. Monitor inventory levels to manage and prevent stockouts and overstocking. Track and analyze order delivery timelines and implement measures to improve delivery efficiency. Production Product Development Collaborate with production teams to monitor plant utilization (wool comber, spinning, and dyeing) and prevent over-capacity production. Champion New Product Development, setting ambitious targets for new product launches and revenue generation from these new offerings . Data Analysis Reporting Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Generate and distribute accurate and timely management reports, including trend analysis and key performance indicators. Process Management Implement and ensure adherence to standardized procedures for Sales Order Punching, report generation, SAP codes generation, limit maintenance, document management, sample handling, and customer communication. Ensure timely completion of all documentation (bills, samples, dispatch challans, etc.) and adherence to turnaround times. Customer Service Quality Control Address Customer Complaints efficiently, aiming for a high resolution rate within defined timelines. Monitor receipt of lab dip cards and baby cons from dyeing departments to ensure timely delivery to customers. Regularly check dispatches to avoid shipment discrepancies and promptly inform relevant stakeholders of any issues. Future Readiness Monitor sales contribution from different customer segments identify diversification opportunities. Track the number of queries converted into sales orders to optimize lead conversion strategies. Education Experience Master's degree: A Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Textiles, or a related field is preferred. Experience Proven experience in sales management, ideally within the textile industry (3 years minimum). Experience leading and motivating a sales team to achieve sales goals. Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share. Excellent understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) principles. Experience developing and implementing effective sales strategies. Essential Job Functions Lab Matching and Shade Development: Work with the lab technicians to accurately match customer-specified dye shades. Participate in the development of new dye shades for yarn products. Troubleshoot and correct any discrepancies in shade matching. Lab Analyses And Dye Recipe Development Perform various laboratory tests to analyse yarn properties, dye compatibility, and colourfastness. Develop accurate and efficient dye recipes for conventional and specialized dyeing techniques, including: Space Dyeing: Experiment with techniques to create multi-colored yarn sections for unique fabric patterns. Smart Dyeing (Emerging Technology): Participate in research and development of smart dyeing processes, following safety protocols for handling advanced materials. Continuously refine dye recipes to optimize color consistency, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Production And Quality Control Oversee the entire yarn dyeing process, including machine operation, chemical application, and dyeing procedures. Ensure dyed yarn consistently meets quality standards established by the company and client specifications. Identify and address any issues that may affect yarn quality, such as shade variations or reduced strength. Coordinate with the Quality Department to verify the quality of dyes and finished products. Technical Expertise And Problem-Solving Identify and troubleshoot machine-related issues. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Mechanical Department. Address internal and external complaints regarding yarn dyeing, such as shade variance or reduced quality. Collaborate with the team to implement solutions and prevent future quality issues. Communication And Record Keeping Maintain clear and concise documentation of all lab tests, dye recipes, and dyeing processes. Communicate effectively with the Yarn Dyeing Supervisor, production team. Prepare reports summarizing lab results and dyeing performance. Manpower Management Lead, motivate, and develop a team of yarn dyeing technicians. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all team members. Address employee concerns and complaints. Manage workload distribution and ensure efficient deployment of personnel. Prepare process reports and maintain accurate production records. Oversee the loading and unloading of dyeing machines. Additional Responsibilities Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality within the department. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all dyeing processes. Comply with all safety regulations and environmental standards. Competencies Strong understanding of colour matching principles and dye chemistry. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite or similar software applications.
