As a 2D Designer at our company, your role involves developing detailed design drawings, patterns, and artwork for stone carving, interior spaces, product design, and various design projects. You will work closely with 3D designers, render artists, and CNC programmers to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in translating abstract concepts into workable 2D visuals. Some of your key responsibilities include: - Developing 2D drawings, layouts, and patterns for different design projects. - Converting client briefs and design ideas into production-ready artwork. - Creating vector-based artworks, CAD drawings, and ornamental motifs for various installations. - Maintaining precision in scale, detailing, and alignment for both CNC and manual carving applications. - Collaborating with the creative team to explore new design languages and visual directions. - Managing multiple design projects under strict deadlines. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field. Previous experience as a 2D Designer, particularly in architectural, interior, or ornamental design, is preferred. Proficiency in software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and AutoCAD is essential. Additionally, you should have a strong knowledge of vector art, line drawings, motifs, and technical drafting. Familiarity with stone carving, CNC design preparation, or ornamental detailing would be advantageous. Your creativity, sharp eye for proportion and symmetry, and ability to collaborate in a design-driven environment will be key to your success in this role.
