Inward Material Handling: Supervise the receipt of incoming materials and verify the quantities against delivery documents. Inspect inward materials for damage, discrepancies, or shortages. Draw samples from incoming materials as per company or QC department guidelines. Ensure that all samples are labeled correctly (batch number, date, supplier, material code, etc.). Deliver samples to the Quality Control/Testing department and maintain sample records. Coordinate with the QC team to obtain clearance for incoming materials before they are stored or used in production. 2. Packing Operations: Oversee packing processes to ensure products are packed safely and according to standard operating procedures. Ensure accurate labeling of packed goods, including product name, batch number, quantity, and destination. Maintain an adequate stock of packing materials and report any shortages promptly. Monitor packing performance, ensuring all operations meet company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. 3. Loading and Unloading Supervision: Supervise the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials. Ensure proper stacking, securing, and arrangement of goods during loading to prevent damage. Verify the accuracy of delivery challans, invoices, and shipment documents against physical goods. Maintain accurate records of all movement of goods, ensuring system or logbook entries are up-to-date.
