The role involves sourcing and attracting candidates from job portals, LinkedIn, and social media; screening applications; conducting initial interviews; and aligning shortlisted candidates with hiring managers. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle , maintaining accurate records in ATS, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while supporting Orbits growth. Role Overview The QA Specialist will be primarily responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing quality standards across Orbits interior fit-out and MEP projects at multiple sites across India. The role demands extensive travel to project locations to conduct audits, inspections, and quality reviews. While the main focus is on site-based QA in execution environments, the role will also extend to supporting factory-based furniture QA (as required) to ensure consistent quality across Orbits project and manufacturing operations. Role & responsibilities 1. Project Quality Planning & SOP Implementation - Develop and enforce project-specific QA/QC plans aligned with Orbits standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes. - Prepare and maintain quality checklists for civil, interiors, finishing, and MEP works. - Ensure QA frameworks are consistently implemented across all project sites. 2. Site QA Audits & Compliance - Conduct regular and surprise QA audits across project sites pan-India. - Verify workmanship, material quality, and finishing against approved drawings/specifications. - Document non-conformances and ensure timely corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). - Ensure compliance with ISO, NBC, HSE, and environmental guidelines. 3. Cross-Team Collaboration & Training - Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Subcontractors to drive quality-first execution. - Train site and subcontractor teams on Orbit QA procedures, SOP adherence, and best practices. - Act as QA point-of-contact for client and PMC consultants on project sites. 4. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain QA audit records, inspection checklists, and compliance documents. - Prepare weekly QA dashboards and monthly QA status reports for management and client reviews. - Ensure QA documentation is client/PMC audit-ready at all times. 5. Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution - Identify early indicators of non-conformance at site execution stage. - Lead root-cause analysis of recurring quality issues and propose long-term solutions. - Escalate and resolve vendor/subcontractor-related QA issues swiftly. 6. Factory QA (Minimal but Critical) - Periodically review QA processes in Orbits in-house furniture manufacturing facility. - Conduct spot checks on joinery, finishes, and packing before dispatch. - Align factory QA practices with site delivery expectations. Preferred candidate profile - Bachelors / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline. - 37 years of proven experience in QA within interiors, MEP, or construction. - Preference for candidates with prior PMC experience. - Certifications in ISO, QA/QC, or HSE will be an added advantage. - Must be open to extensive travel across India for project QA activities.
