Oracle PL/SQL

We are hiring a Technical Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database programming, performance tuning, and data integration, with hands-on experience in complex SQL development and defect analysis.

Key Skills & Tools:

• Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle 19c SQL Language)
• Oracle PL/SQL design and programming (Oracle SQL Developer)
• Experience supporting high-priority user requests with sensitive data
• Oracle 19c and RAC concepts
• Good knowledge of Oracle SQL Developer 23 and above

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, including views and materialized views
• Implement analytical functions, hierarchical queries, and pivot/unpivot operations
• Manage external tables, SQL Loader, and table partitioning
• Perform query performance tuning using explain plans, hints, and parallel queries
• Work with fact and dimension tables in data warehouse environments
• Create and execute unit and integration test plans/scripts
• Document test results and track issues
• Support QC activities and perform regression testing
• Analyze and fix code defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting
• Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and indexing
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Equivalent experience in enterprise IT environments will also be considered.
