Job Description

Oracle Exadata DBA in India with 7 years experience or higher supporting multi-Terabyte Production / DR / UAT and DEV databases across different Exadata versions in a banking environment.

The candidate is responsible for supporting and maintaining Exadata estate for client.

The candidate is expected to be a specialist in supporting 19c Oracle RAC databases and Exadata platform.

The candidate needs to be able to diagnose and resolve problems across Application Database Network Server and Storage for the database appliance.

The candidate is expected to have a very good understanding of 12c OEM Grid Control RMAN and Data Guard technologies GoldenGate.

The candidate is responsible for providing level 3 supports to RTB and BTB team as well as resolving user queries.

The candidate is expected to have experience onboarding new Exadata hardware into an Organisation.

Level 3 performance troubleshooting skills required for DB and O/S Excellent Hands-on experience in database administration for Exadata platform

Hands on experience in Oracle 19c PL/SQL and good understanding of new features in upcoming Oracle DB versions Hands on experience of Oracle based tools i.e. SQL Loader Import/Export Data Pump High UNIX system administration experience and knowledge hardware / network cards

Good experience in implementing self-service tools for backups and restores. Unix shell / Perl scripting languages

Good understanding of OLTP and Data Warehouse concepts with proven experience in both

Excellent Performance Tuning skill set covering O/S Exadata and DB.
