Optometrist (Program Officer)

You are invited to apply for the position of Optometrist at India Vision Institute (IVI) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As an Optometrist with 0-2 years of experience, you will have the opportunity to participate in eye camps and vision screening programs. Your responsibilities will include setting up camps at designated locations, coordinating with local organizers and school authorities, conducting vision checks, performing refraction, diagnosing visual problems, counseling patients, and prescribing/dispensing spectacles. Additionally, you will be expected to display relevant collaterals, capture photos of the screening program, record patient data in prescribed formats, and report to the Head Office. You may need to travel within the city, state, and other regions as per project requirements. All outstation travel, food, and accommodation will be provided according to the company's travel policy. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
