Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing vision tests, diagnosing visual issues, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing ocular diseases in coordination with ophthalmologists when necessary. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine eye examinations and vision tests using specialized instruments. Diagnose refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids. Detect eye diseases like glaucoma, cataract, diabetic retinopathy, and refer for specialist care when required. Maintain accurate patient records and update prescriptions as necessary. Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. Educate patients on eye health, hygiene, and preventive care. Collaborate with ophthalmologists, opticians, and other healthcare staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Optometry (B.Optom / M.Optom) from a recognized institution. Registered with relevant state/central Optometry Council. Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred (Freshers can apply if trained). Good communication and interpersonal skills.
