Ophthalmic Technique

Job Description: As an optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, which include conducting eye tests such as refraction and ocular health screenings using specialized optometric equipment. You will also be expected to diagnose and manage common eye conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye, and prescribe appropriate medications for treatment. Additionally, you will play a key role in vision correction by prescribing and fitting corrective lenses such as eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as other vision aids. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction and ocular health screenings - Diagnose and manage common eye conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye - Prescribe appropriate medications for eye conditions - Prescribe and fit corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses) for vision correction - Provide guidance on other vision aids as needed Qualifications Required: - Degree in Ophthalmic or Optometry - Relevant experience in optometry practice is preferred Please note that this role is available in various job types such as Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher, or Internship positions.
