Operational Buyer

Location:

• Share weekly forecasts with suppliers to facilitate production planning and procurement activities.
• Issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, reflecting the forecasted demand and requirements.
• Complete and follow up on actions generated from ERP system D365 (advance, postpone, decrease) in order to secure accurate material inflow and a low inventory level.
• Secure order confirmations from suppliers to validate delivery timelines and quantities.
• Track orders in transit from international suppliers, providing regular updates on shipment status.
• Ensure orders are delivered on time and received as scheduled. In case of delays, promptly escalate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to secure accurate delivery dates.
• Match supplier invoices to corresponding purchase orders, verifying quantities, prices, and terms.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including forecasts, purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and invoices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production planning, warehouse, and finance, to streamline procurement processes and optimize inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on end-to-end purchasing processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) will be added advantage, is preferred.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to meeting deadlines and resolving issues promptly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Willing to have flexible working hours to match the need for online calls/meetings with team
