Job Summary:

Red Hat OpenShift Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect secure, scalable OpenShift cluster infrastructure on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) or on-prem (bare metal or VMware).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters (OCP 4.x), including operators, nodes, and ingress.
• Well-versed in OpenShift subscriptions and how to manage subscriptions through the Red Hat Customer Portal.
• Must have hands-on experience on setting up Open Shift Data Foundation (ODF), RHACM, RHACS, Quay, Service Maesh on OpenShift and troubleshooting any issues on the same.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
• Manage cluster security, RBAC, authentication (OAuth/LDAP/AD), and secrets management.
• Develop and deploy Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and container images.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to networking, storage, logging, and monitoring in OpenShift.
• Integrate OpenShift with enterprise tools such as logging (ELK, EFK), monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), GitOps, and Service Mesh (Istio).
• Perform regular upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with

  OpenShift 4.x

• Strong expertise in

  Kubernetes

• Solid understanding of

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or OpenShift Application Development.
• Experience with SRE practices and observability in container platforms.
• Background in networking (DNS, Load Balancing, NAT, etc.).
• Experience with GitOps tools like
