As a team member of Disha Consultants, a renowned US and Canadian education counseling firm located in Western India with an office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, your primary responsibility will be to engage with students who are aspiring to pursue higher education abroad, specifically in the United States and Canada. Your key roles and responsibilities will include: - Establishing and nurturing relationships with University representatives to facilitate the admissions process. - Interacting effectively with students, their parents, and university representatives to gather necessary information and address any queries or concerns. - Conducting research on new programs and courses in the field of higher education. - Researching universities and colleges to connect with their representatives and develop strong relationships with them. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Possess 1 to 3 years of relevant experience (though prior experience is not mandatory for the right candidate). - Reside in Ahmedabad, where our office is located. - Demonstrate proficiency in English to effectively communicate with university representatives. - Exhibit strong written communication skills with a keen understanding of grammar. - Display a high level of patience to interact with both parents and students. - Be proactive and independent in gathering information from university websites and conveying it to students. - Have familiarity with using computers, online conferencing and meeting platforms (such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, etc.), and a basic understanding of Microsoft Office tools. - Possess basic content writing skills along with a proficient level of written and grammar skills.
