Efficiently manage a specific station within the kitchen (e.g., Garde Manger, Sauté) during peak service hours. 2. Menu Development & Innovation Collaborate closely with the Head Chef on menu research and development , introducing innovative dishes and seasonal specials that elevate the Continental offerings. Focus on incorporating fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients where possible to enhance flavour and quality. Maintain awareness of current culinary trends within the Continental and global fine dining space. 3. Kitchen Operations & Leadership Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation protocols (HACCP). Oversee inventory, including accurate ordering, receiving, and rotating stock to minimise waste and control costs. Mentor and train junior kitchen staff on proper techniques, safety standards, and efficiency in preparing complex Continental dishes. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or recognised fine dining establishment. Proven expertise across Continental cooking styles , including French, Mediterranean, and contemporary Western cuisine. Formal culinary education or certification is highly desirable.
