Nursing Staff ophthalmology

Patient Care & Examination

• Pre-screening:Perform initial patient assessments, including measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and recording patient medical histories.
• Routine & Special Investigations:Conduct routine examinations and carry out special investigations such as fundus photography, ultrasonography, and ocular coherence tomography (OCT).
• Medication & Treatment:Administer prescribed eye drops, medications, and other treatments, and assess the fit of corrective lenses.
• Patient Education:Provide counseling and education to patients and their families about their eye condition, management plans, and treatments.

Surgical & Procedural Assistance

• Preparation:Prepare patients for eye surgeries, including performing pre-operative assessments and educating them about the procedure.
• Surgical Assistance:Assist ophthalmologists during surgical procedures and may perform minor interventions.
• Post-surgical Care:Provide primary, follow-up, and discharge care to patients who have undergone eye surgery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
