We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our product development team. Key Responsibilities Design & Modeling: Conceptualize, design, and develop complex mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX10). Documentation: Create and manage all essential engineering documentation, including detailed 2D production drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering change orders (ECOs). Analysis & Validation: Conduct engineering analyses, calculations, and simulations (e.g., FEA/CFD) to validate design integrity, structural performance, and material suitability. Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the prototyping process, design test methods, and rigorously test prototypes to ensure they meet specified requirements and industry standards. DFx: Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize designs for cost-effective, high-volume production. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Procurement, to ensure seamless integration and production readiness. Troubleshooting: Conduct root cause analysis on design-related issues in both prototype and production phases, and implement effective corrective actions. Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors for component selection, material specification, and validation of custom parts.
