The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable financial regulations. The role will also include budget management, tax preparation, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Qualifications Financial and Accounting Skills: Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheet tools, and financial management systems. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with tax regulations, auditing procedures, and other financial compliance requirements. Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication. Additional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and prior experience in accounting roles is highly preferred. Bonus Skills: Knowledge of retail industry financial processes.
