In this position, you will be an integral part of our revenue cycle management process, ensuring accurate and timely billing, maximizing reimbursement, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization. Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying and addressing claim denials, resolving issues, and resubmitting claims for prompt reimbursement. Additionally, you will be generating patient statements, addressing billing inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service to patients regarding their billing concerns. You will also assist in preparing reports and analytics to optimize revenue cycle performance and handle any coding-related issues that may arise. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in medical billing, a strong understanding of billing processes and insurance guidelines, and prior experience with Neurology billing and coding tasks. Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (e.g., CPC, CPB) is preferred, along with familiarity with ECW and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, a collaborative mindset, and adaptability to changes in the healthcare industry are also essential qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
