Networking Engineer

As a Network Engineer Tier-2 at unifyCX in Mangalore, you will play a crucial role in configuring, deploying, and managing WiFi networks using Ruckus, Cambium Networks, and MikroTik equipment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliable and secure connectivity. You will collaborate with senior network engineers to maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points. Your primary focus will be on network configuration, where you will participate in setting up and configuring network devices, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Additionally, you will conduct routine network maintenance, updates, and assist in preparing network performance reports and analysis. In this role, you will provide technical support to end-users experiencing network issues and work closely with the support team to resolve network-related problems promptly. Continuous learning is encouraged, where you will stay updated with the latest developments in networking technologies and pursue relevant certifications and training opportunities. To be successful in this position, you should have 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field, along with an Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Fundamental knowledge of networking principles, experience with Ruckus, Cambium Networks, and MikroTik devices, and proficiency in network troubleshooting tools are essential requirements. You must be willing to work in a fixed USA Day shift, including weekends, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
