Network Sec Engineer

Role Overview: As a Firewall Engineer at Wipro Limited, your role is to analyze, identify, rectify, and recommend specific improvement measures to enhance the security posture of the organization by safeguarding sensitive information. You will be responsible for handling L1, L2 & L3 Level tickets per SLAs, ensuring network security best practices, modifying monitoring parameters, and creating/modifying firewall configurations. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the first point of escalation for all Firewall issues - Guarantee execution of network security best practices for firewall configurations, troubleshooting, and monitoring - Create/modify/delete Objects, Security Rules, Decryption policy, and NAT rules - Work on management security groups and troubleshoot VPC logs for any denial of access - Form and fix appropriate policy and signature rules, including tuning and development of custom intrusion detection - Ensure only authorized changes are made to devices under strict change control processes - Plan and schedule Changes, coordinating with different stakeholders - Perform Root Cause Analysis for Major Incidents in the tower - Participate in business meetings with various stakeholders - Provide technical subject matter expertise - Take corrective actions based on customer satisfaction surveys - Train new team members and work on Knowledge acquisition and updates to related documents Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in Checkpoint Firewalls and VPN - Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts - Strong analytical skills for incident analysis and remediation - Experience in conducting security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of security incidents - Knowledge of advanced analytics tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities - Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination and audit assistance Additional Information: Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on building innovative solutions to address clients" complex digital transformation needs.
