We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer & Security professional (L3) with strong expertise in network routing, switching, firewall management, and network architecture. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing network solutions, driving network transformation projects, managing technical changes, and ensuring seamless transition of projects into BAU operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies, along with expertise in either Wireless or Network Security, and exposure to SD-WAN transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, document, and develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for network transformation projects.
- Architect and implement network solutions involving routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams, partners, and implementation teams during project execution.
- Drive network transformation, technology refresh, and SD-WAN implementation projects.
- Implement network configurations in accordance with approved solution designs.
- Work closely with BAU teams and Project Managers to ensure project deliverables are completed within timelines.
- Manage technical changes throughout the project lifecycle and ensure smooth transition of solutions to BAU teams.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance network service delivery and productivity.
- Manage multiple vendors and mixed delivery models.
- Prepare and justify business cases for network-related projects.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, service-level agreements (SLAs), and change management procedures.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with ISPs for incident resolution.
Technical Skills & Expertise
1. Routing & Switching
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching technologies.
- Hands-on experience with OSPF, BGP, and HSRP.
- Experience with VLAN, VTP, and EtherChannel.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus 7K/9K, Nexus 5K/2K, Catalyst 6500, 4500, 3750, and 3560 series.
2. Network Security & Firewall
- Strong experience with Cisco ASA and Cisco Firepower.
- Experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.
- Exposure to Zscaler Proxy and Cisco ACS.
3. Additional Technical Skills
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers.
- Knowledge of Akamai Public DNS.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- Experience managing and coordinating network-related cases with ISPs.
- Exposure to AWS networking.
4. Specialization
- Strong expertise in either Wireless Networking or Network Security (Cisco ASA/Firepower).
- Knowledge of SD-WAN transformation and network technology refresh initiatives.
Certifications
- CCNP / CCSP certification is mandatory.
- ITIL certification is mandatory.
Required Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in Network Engineering and Security.
- Demonstrated experience in network solution architecture and project implementation.
- Strong experience in ITIL-based ticketing systems and service-level management.
- Experience managing network transformation projects and stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
