Network Engineer - LAN

As a Network Engineer LAN at Miratech, you will be joining a global team supporting a large-scale SaaS production environment. Your role will involve maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting IP networking components in a mission-critical datacenter network built on Cisco Nexus platforms. Your expertise in routing, switching, security, and load balancing, along with a passion for automation and continuous improvement, will be key in this hands-on position. Responsibilities: - Interact with external customers to troubleshoot any network connectivity-related issues. - Partner closely with Network Architects and Engineers to enhance data-center network environments. - Initiate multiple projects for Network Operation improvements. - Collaborate with internal business units to understand organizational needs and apply standards for operational excellence. - Review, analyze, and execute network change requests. - Develop and implement network automation for repetitive tasks. Qualifications: - 3 to 5 years of experience working with medium-to-large enterprise networks. - Hands-on expertise in Network security (Palo Alto firewalls), Load balancing (F5 or equivalent), Routing (MPLS, OSPF, BGP), and Switching (Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k). - Working knowledge of Cisco IOS (Nexus OS preferred). - Demonstrated knowledge of platform operating systems, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, and their interactions with the network. - Experience with datacenter networking, including DC fabric, interoffice routing, and site-to-site VPNs. - Strong troubleshooting skills and a data-driven approach to solving complex network issues. - Ability to create and maintain network documentation such as diagrams and runbooks. - Experience with large data center implementations, interoffice routing plans, site-to-site VPNs, FWs, IPSec, monitoring, etc., is a plus.
