Job overview : Network engineer that can thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment. This person will help design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain networks. Primary Responsibilities and Activities : - Need to have knowledge about Designs, installs and configures network and security infrastructure, including the core network switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IPS), proxy servers, VPN concentrators, spam firewalls, configuration management and network performance management. - Should monitor network traffic to identify problems and make capacity planning recommendations - Should maintain and update the network and security infrastructure, tests and implements vendor security patches, implement workarounds for unpatched security vulnerabilities - Should know how to Install, maintain, configure and troubleshoot the telecommunication infrastructure - Troubleshoots problems with network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, proxy servers and make corrective actions when necessary. - Assists with the planning, design, research and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems; maintains current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommends modifications as necessary; and - Performs other duties of a similar nature or level. Preferred knowledge and skill set : - WAN and LAN, QoS,F5,DNAC, SDwan, Cisco ISE, Zscaler - Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills - Excellent oral, written & presentation communications skills - CCDA / CCNP / CCIE or Higher Cisco Certification or any other CISCO certification would be an advantage - Required Expertise on following Technology - Routing - Switching - Wireless - Security - Related NMS Softwares etc Required Qualifications: B.Sc. in computer science, Engineering, computer information or related fields.
