Network and Cloud Engineer

As a Network Engineer at our company, you will play a key role in managing secure and scalable network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi network infrastructure. - Configuring, monitoring, and managing firewalls like Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA. - Administering and troubleshooting cloud network environments in AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Managing Linux-based servers, including updates, security patches, and performance tuning. - Monitoring network performance, conducting regular audits, and ensuring high availability. - Responding to and resolving network incidents, outages, and security alerts promptly. - Documenting network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures. - Collaborating with IT and security teams to uphold data security and compliance best practices. Your required skills for this role include: - Strong experience in firewall installation and rule management. - Hands-on knowledge of cloud networking components such as VPC, subnets, routing, VPN, and security groups. - Proficiency in Linux system administration across distributions like Ubuntu, CentOS, and RHEL. - Familiarity with routing protocols, switches, and load balancers. - Experience with network monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or similar. - Understanding of security best practices, VLANs, and access control. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Qualifications we are looking for: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Certifications such as CCNA, AWS Certified Networking Specialty, RHCE are a plus. - 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in network administration and support.
