JD for Network Admin - Projects Role Technical Administrator Designation Network Admin - Projects Job Description Responsible for ensuring seamless network connectivity across all managed facilities. This role involves deploying new network infrastructure, managing configurations, and troubleshooting network appliances such as firewalls, routers, Wi-Fi controllers, IAPs, and switches. The administrator will monitor the health of network devices using various tools and techniques, providing rapid response to any identified network issues. Additionally, the role includes maintaining comprehensive network documentation and reporting directly to the Network Technical Lead. Responsibilities Conduct site visits and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) with node matrix and layout preparation. Coordinate with vendors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for project execution. Implement and configure network infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with specifications. Supervise network projects, ensuring timely completion and documentation of processes. Design and prepare network architecture for various projects. Manage periodic activities such as asset management, rack auditing, WLAN capacity planning, and maintaining standby hardware. Oversee WAN/LAN/WLAN projects at sites focused on network improvements. Perform regular visits to remote locations for network assessments and audits. Manage LAN/WLAN infrastructure projects and asset management for all BUs. Conduct comprehensive network rack auditing and manage campus OFC backbone. Skills & Competencies 3+ years of experience in Network Preferably factory networking environment Good understanding of Network and security basics Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and the OSI model Skills in managing network projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring Ability to maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and configuration records Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages as well as securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access. Experience in NMS tools like Solar winds, Aruba central and IMC Good understanding of incident, Asset, Problem and Change Management Monitor and check ISP connection, firewalls and VPN gateways. Basic understanding of ISP and internet connectivity. Education UG /Any Graduate /Any Specialization
