JD for Network Admin - Operations Role Technical Administrator Designation Network Admin - Operations Job Description Responsible for ensuring network connectivity of all our Saint-Gobain managed facilities. Deploys new infrastructure, manages configurations, and performs troubleshooting of network appliances, including firewalls, routers, Wi-Fi controllers, IAP and switches. Monitors the health of network devices using various tools and techniques while providing swift response to identified network issues. Maintains network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration baselines, and backup configurations. Directly reports to the Network Technical Lead. Responsibilities Provides daily operations support and maintenance for enterprise network. Performs technical support and administration of network devices. Manages and maintains network firmware and software patches in compliance with vendor recommendations and security best practices. Regularly reviews network logs and performance metrics to proactively monitor systems and address issues accordingly. Creates and maintains technical and detailed network design documentation. Provides technical support for network-related issues and errors. Provides guidance and technical support to team members for critical network operations and restoration. Skills & Competencies Experience in Network/Network Security Preferably factory networking environment Good understanding of Network and security basics Configuring/Troubleshooting of LAN switching & Aruba wireless Configuring/Troubleshooting of wireless controller Configuring/Troubleshooting of WAN MPLS/Lease line Experience in automation using Python, Ansible Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access. Experience in NMS tools like Solar winds, Aruba central and IMC Good understanding of incident, Asset, Problem and Change Management Ability to create network diagrams and documentation. Monitor and check ISP connection, firewalls, and VPN gateways. Education UG /Any Graduate /Any Specialization
