.Net Azure Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect at Orion Innovation, you will play a crucial role in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions utilizing cutting-edge Microsoft technologies such as .NET Core, Azure cloud services, and API architecture. Your expertise in these areas will be instrumental in leading the development of innovative solutions that drive business transformation and product development for our diverse clientele across various industries. Your key responsibilities will include architecting and designing RESTful APIs using .NET Core and ASP.NET Web API, developing microservices and serverless functions with Azure Functions, implementing robust data access layers using Entity Framework Core, managing API lifecycle using Azure API Management (APIM), hosting and deploying applications using Azure App Service, ensuring secure API access with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and OAuth2/JWT, managing secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault, defining and enforcing CORS policies, collaborating with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and creating architectural documentation and best practices. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core, expertise in ASP.NET Web API and RESTful service design, hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core, a deep understanding of Azure Functions and event-driven architecture, proficiency in Azure API Management, App Services, and Key Vault, familiarity with Azure Active Directory, OAuth2, and Microsoft Identity Platform, experience in API security, rate limiting, and throttling, knowledge of configuring CORS policies and managing API gateways, expertise in Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices, as well as excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred qualifications for this role include Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-204, AZ-400), experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with other cloud platforms.
