As a Procurement Officer, your primary responsibilities will include monitoring stock levels, identifying purchasing needs, and researching potential vendors. You will be tasked with tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery, as well as updating internal databases with order details such as dates, vendors, quantities, and discounts. Conducting market research to identify pricing trends, evaluating offers from vendors, and negotiating better prices will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare cost analyses, maintain updated records of invoices and contracts, and follow up with suppliers as needed to confirm or change orders. Collaboration with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition will also be part of your responsibilities. This is a full-time position with benefits including paid sick time and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, with the possibility of a yearly bonus. The job location is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work is required. The ideal candidate for this role should have a qualification of 10th/12th/diploma/ITI and a minimum of 1 year of total work experience. A Two-Wheeler Driving Licence is necessary for this position.
