Objectives of this role Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings in the assigned territory Research customer needs and identify how our solutions can help customers Appoint, train, motivate, and advise Sales agents/Distributors/System Integrators/Channel partners etc. Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts. Achieve Sales Targets set for the region monthly. Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships. Responsibilities Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's regional reach Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs Appoint, train, motivate and advise sales agents/distributors/system integrators/channel partners and coach them, and monitor their performance Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them Ensure that company sales targets are met every month by holding daily/weekly and monthly reviews with above channel and to brief leadership about the progress regularly. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with due diligence. Required skills and qualifications 5+ years of experience in industrial battery sales/marketing Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Superb leadership ability Ability to travel at least 60% of the monthly calendar. · Willing to lead a sales team at NED Energy, that strives to become one of Top 3 Industrial Battery Manufacturers in the Country in the next 5 Years. · Sales & Marketing Head to plan and supervise marketing operations to achieve revenue target monthly. The Targets will be finalized after analyzing inputs about total market for industrial batteries, segment and vertical wise and by considering available products in NED portfolio. · Knowledge of Industrial Battery Market in India and, about different segments that are part of Industrial battery space in India. · Stay updated with latest marketing trends and competitor activities. · Supervise Sales team’s work of Enquiry Generation, Customer Visits, Enquiry To Order To Billing Process. · Discuss on a regular basis the recurring billing/dispatch plan with PPC, Operations and other key stakeholders in the entire process. · Coordinate with team in developing marketing plan and budget. · Analyze sales data and determine sales forecast. · Plan and execute Innovative and effective Marketing Activities to improve brand image and brand awareness about NED in the market. · Customer satisfaction is the prime focus of Sales and Marketing Head. Working closely with major accounts and interacting and generating new customers and supporting the existing customers. · Generate and update Leadership with Sales Reports on a regular basis. · Cooperate with the management in the development of marketing programs and criteria to achieve sales goals. · Evaluate current marketing program and recommend improvements. Preferably from Battery / Battery Charger Industry: - · Postgraduate in Management with hands on experience in Industrial battery and / OR battery charger / UPS / SOLAR industry preferred. · Suitable Candidate should be a Professional in work culture. · Raise the profile of the Company through the development of active marketing strategies and communication programmes in line with business objectives. · Support the sales team in implementation and monitoring of sales and marketing targets. · Identify appropriate external support and arrange for targets. · Secure and maintain relevant internal and external relationship with the customers. · Develop, manage and monitor sales and marketing team.
