NDT Technician - PT (Penetrant Testing)

Detail-oriented NDT Technician with 2 years of hands-on experience in Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) for detecting surface-breaking defects in components used in industries like oil & gas, fabrication, and manufacturing. Skilled in interpreting indications, following quality procedures, and working on both shop floor and site environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Performed Penetrant Testing (PT) as per written procedures and standards (ASME, ASTM, IS).
• Prepared components (cleaning, drying) before applying dye penetrant.
• Applied visible or fluorescent penetrant and developer to identify discontinuities.
• Interpreted indications and reported findings with photographic evidence and proper documentation.
• Maintained testing equipment and consumables.
• Worked under the supervision of Level III or Quality Engineer.
• Ensured strict adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.
• Carried out inspections on materials like welds, castings, forgings, and machined parts.

Qualifications

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field
• Certification:
• ASNT/ISNT Level II in PT (Penetrant Testing)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
