Job Title: Documentation Executive Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu | Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: We are seeking a highly meticulous and organized Documentation Executive to play a critical role in our Crew Management team. You will be responsible for the meticulous management of seafarer documentation, ensuring our crew members are always compliant and ready for deployment. This is a vital position that supports our commitment to regulatory adherence and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Thorough checking and verification of all seafarer documents, including Certificates of Competency (CoC), STCW endorsements, medical certificates, passports, visas, training records, and other relevant licenses. Collecting and receiving documents from seafarers, ensuring all required paperwork is submitted accurately and on time. Accurately uploading and maintaining seafarer data and documents within our internal crewing and documentation management systems. Ensuring all seafarer documentation complies with international maritime regulations (STCW, MLC), Flag State requirements, Port State Control, and client-specific demands. Assisting in the preparation of crew change documentation and ensuring all crew members have valid documents prior to embarkation. Assisting with internal and external audits related to crew documentation. Handling queries from seafarers or internal departments regarding documentation status. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Freshers with a keen interest in the maritime industry and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
