Job Function: Operations Job Family: Manufacturing Engineering Job Overview: Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: At this role level the preferred candidate is fully proficient in most functional tasks and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of their area of specialization. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to solve complex problems, proactively identifying and addressing quality issues, and preventing potential disruptions within their scope of work. The individual is expected to document and present research, recommendations, and complex information in a clear and accessible manner to both internal and external audiences. The individual is capable of managing multiple components of large projects, balancing time and resources to meet deadlines, and ensuring alignment with quality and cost objectives.
