As a PostgreSQL DBA at Nascent, you will be responsible for administration and management of PostgreSQL databases. Your role will include maintaining standby databases, migrating and upgrading databases, and implementing high availability solutions for a fail-safe database environment with at least 2 DB servers. You should be able to manage multiple instances of PostgreSQL and perform point-in-time recovery when needed. Additionally, you will be required to convert logical designs to physical designs, support online backups for staging/production databases, and plan, implement, and maintain incremental/full and hot DB backup strategies.
