Job Description

As a Murex Testing professional, your role will involve functional testing of various modules in Murex. You will be responsible for understanding business and technical requirements, designing solutions, and translating them into test scenarios and test cases. Your key responsibilities will include executing full test cycles, performing file reconciliation, executing test cases during SIT and supporting business users during UAT. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams during test preparation and execution activities and manage the defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA. You will also be expected to produce clear and concise reports during the lifecycle of an automation project. Key Responsibilities: - Functional testing of various modules in Murex - Understanding business and technical requirements, designing solutions, and translating them into test scenarios and test cases - Executing full test cycles, including scenario execution, test execution, defect logging, and re-testing - Performing file reconciliation (Source vs Target) and first level of analysis - Executing test cases during SIT and supporting business users during UAT - Working collaboratively with other teams during test preparation and execution activities - Managing defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA - Producing clear and concise reports during the lifecycle of an automation project Qualifications Required: - 2 to 8 years of working experience in Murex projects. Exposure to FO/BO (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Collateral, Accounting, Interface Workflows, or Hedge Accounting) module would be an added advantage - Good understanding of Murex trade, events life cycle, and interfaces - Strong manual testing skills with full-cycle testing experience in Murex projects - Good domain knowledge of at least one capital market asset class: FXC, FXD, FI, IRD, MM Additional Details: - Prior experience on Murex Upgrade projects is a plus - Exposure to reports development, workflow configuration, or EOD is beneficial - Experience in working with Indian Banks would be an advantage Please Note: - Languages: English - C2 Proficient - Seniority: Senior - Location: Mumbai, India Join us in this exciting opportunity to be a part of the first-ever Murex upgrade project for a leading private bank in India.
