As a Junior Sous Chef at The Postcard Gir Wildlife Sanctuary in Gujarat, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality and diverse culinary experiences to our guests. Your expertise in multi-cuisine cooking, especially authentic Gujarati cuisine, will be instrumental in creating memorable dining experiences in the heart of Gujarat's vibrant wilderness. Your responsibilities will include preparing and supervising well-presented dishes spanning Indian, Continental, and Gujarati cuisines. Maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and hygiene standards across all kitchen sections is crucial. Additionally, you will lead, train, and motivate junior staff to ensure efficient team performance. Monitoring kitchen inventory, assisting with procurement, and minimizing wastage are also part of your key duties. To excel in this role, you should have at least 12 years of professional kitchen experience, with a focus on Culinary Leadership. Your proven culinary expertise in Gujarati cuisine, coupled with multi-cuisine knowledge, will set you up for success. Strong team leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities are essential, along with attention to detail, organizational discipline, and quality consistency.
