Role & responsibilities Perform inspections utilizing various NDT techniques in PT, MT and Level III UT methods in accordance with the company and customer specificationsInspect raw materials and finished products throughout the manufacturing processPrepare quality and NDT documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validationsAssist with maintaining and updating pertinent manuals i.e., Quality Assurance Manual, ASME QC Manual, etc. in accordance with required specificationsCoordinate and assist in the certification of NDT for Level I and Level II inspectorsLiaise with Engineering team to ensure that job travelers and manufacturing processes include the required inspection and/or hold points needed to comply with customer or specification requirementsIdentify opportunities for improvement and bring solutions and suggestions for process improvementParticipate in cross-functional meetings as required in order to strengthen quality across the plant and other related processes
