Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team in the medical transcription department. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of medical terminology and transcription guidelines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.

Roles and Responsibility

Accurately and efficiently transcribe medical records using computer-aided design software.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive patient information.
Develop and implement effective transcription techniques to ensure high-quality output.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to clarify or correct transcription discrepancies.
Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in medical technology and terminology.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance transcription accuracy and efficiency.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Proficiency in using transcription software and equipment.
Excellent listening and typing skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
