Core SQL Skills: (Ms Sql) 5+ year :(Must have skills) Advanced querying (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions). Stored procedure, function, and trigger development. Error handling and transaction management. Dynamic SQL. Working with various data types (including XML, JSON, and spatial data). Data Manipulation Language (DML): Efficient INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and MERGE statements. Understanding of data integrity constraints. Data Definition Language (DDL): Creating and modifying tables, views, indexes, and other database objects. Understanding of database schemas and normalization. Database Design and Architecture: Relational Database Design: Normalization and denormalization principles. Entity-relationship modeling (ERD). Data warehousing and OLAP concepts (if applicable). Database Object Design: Designing efficient and maintainable stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Understanding of indexing strategies. Implementing database security. Database Architecture: Understanding of the different SQL server editions and their capabilities. Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts. Performance Optimization: Query Optimization: Analyzing query execution plans. Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Index tuning and management.
