Location : AIA – Kolkata

The role of a QA Tester in Microsoft Fabric involves a range of responsibilities that ensure the integrity and quality of data within the platform. Key responsibilities include:

Developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests to validate data integrity and quality from source systems to the Microsoft Fabric Delta Lakehouse.
Designing and implementing data validation strategies to ensure accurate data migration and transformation.
Performing comprehensive data testing to check data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Utilizing SQL and Python to create automated test scripts and manage testing frameworks.
Collaborating with development and data engineering teams to resolve issues and improve data quality.
Applying a thorough understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices in testing scenarios.
Collaborating with data architects and engineers to understand the data flow and architecture within the Delta Lakehouse.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test results.
This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in testing large volumes of data, a deep understanding of data architecture, and the ability to create and execute automated tests.
